What happens to your body when you encounter the unknown?

A response from Emma Bailey:
I firmly believe that the body and the mind are two completely separate operating systems. When they’re in harmony, things generally tend to be good. When they’re not in balance, I think this is when things get exciting. When you enter a new environment, your mind is typically more enduring than the body. The body doesn’t like the unknown. It activates adrenaline responses and tries to problem solve as quick as possible. If the mind can quell the body into welcoming this unknown, however, this is where we can find growth.
